Haptic Vision

The client SenseGlove, a Delft startup, developed a VR glove with hand tracking, force feedback, and advanced tactile feedback.

A graduation project by Bryan Zaaijer at TU Delft’s faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, supervised by André Valkenhoff and myself, had the goal to meet the increasing demand from academic researchers. This vision-based design approach synthesized the future vision of dozens of potential academic clients. Based on their descriptions of the future of haptic technology, Bryan developed a final concept as a prototype and evaluated it to proof its promise for SenseGlove. He’s been working there ever since.
